When Alyx Vance was four years old, her father built the robot to act as a bodyguard for his young daughter, protecting her from the various dangerous creatures that had sprung up in the wake of the Resonance Cascade. Alyx immediately took a shine to the robot and started devising means of upgrading it to be stronger, more effective, and more fun to play with. Now, nineteen years later, D0G is a nine-foot-tall behemoth who can run at 25 mph, lift cars over his head, and throw objects with a zero-point energy gun built into his right forearm. At heart, though, he's still Alyx's devoted pet and bodyguard, and adores her in the same manner that a real dog adores a kind and loving master.

D0G is from the Half-Life series of games and is the property of the Valve Corporation and Mark Laidlaw. He appears here solely for the purpose of roleplaying, from which no profit whatsoever is being made.
